UNESCO Troubled by the State of Conservation of Lviv

Ukrainian society is concerned about the state of conservation of the historic center of Lviv that has recently been affected by the construction of hotel on Fedorova Street in the historical Jewish quarter.
Kishore Rao, the director of the World Heritage Center at UNESCO sent an official inquiry to Ambassador Kupchyshyn from the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine and the head of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO to relate the concerns of the individuals from Lviv regarding the state of conservation of the historic center of Lviv that has recently been affected by the construction of hotel on Fedorova Street
